From here, you’ll be able to watch class recordings and complete modules tailored to the licence class you are applying for. In the meantime, your client support officer will start preparing your application before submitting it to the relevant governing body in your state. Not necessarily - many builders achieve their licences without this qualification. While a Certificate IV in building and construction is definitely useful, it is not required by the VBA when it comes to applying. Applicants can bypass the qualification by providing sufficient evidence of their building experience, work history, and references. 

Most people complete the face-to-face or Zoom training in 10-12 weeks - however, with the online course, you can work to your own timeframes based on your schedule and availability. You can take a more intensive route or space it out over the course of a few months. And should any circumstances arise that mean you have to put your training on hold, that’s fine - you can come back when you’re ready.
